I have finished my PhD thesis

The project

PhD projects are registered by HR in DTU Fusion and the project metadata is subsequently harvested directly into DTU Orbit. If you want to update information in your PhD project, please contact HR at phd_team@dtu.dk

DTU Fusion and DTU Orbit are synchronized every night – updates will not be visible in DTU Orbit till the day after they have been added to the DTU Fusion record.

The thesis

When the thesis has been defended and the PhD award granted, HR will send the thesis to DTU Library for registration. DTU Library will then add the thesis to DTU Orbit as soon as possible.

PhD theses will be made public available as Open Access.

Articles in the thesis

If you intend to include articles in your thesis, please make sure that you have permission to do so and that publishers recognize that the thesis will be made available Open Access in DTU Orbit.

If the articles have not yet been published, please check the guidelines of the journals/publishers to whom you are considering submitting your manuscripts. And do so before you hand in your thesis at DTU. This way, you will avoid problems with publishing your articles or your thesis at a later stage.
