- discounts when paying Open Access in specific journals
In 2025, DTU entered a three-year agreement with Thieme which includes a 10% discount on specific journals when publishing Open Access.
The agreement with Thieme covers journal articles accepted between the 1st of January 2025 to the 31st of December 2027.
What to do
While submitting your publication in a Thieme journal covered by the agreement, it is important that you choose DTU as your institutional affiliation and use your corresponding DTU email address to publish under Thieme´s Open Access conditions.
- Use your DTU e-mail as the corresponding author
- State DTU as your institutional affiliation (Technical University of Denmark)
- Select Open Access to publish your article without a publication fee
- Select a Creative Commons license; CC-BY (default)*
