Wiley

- discounts when paying for Open Access

Once your research article has been accepted for publication in a Wiley journal, it is important that you choose DTU as your institutional affiliation and use your corresponding DTU email address to publish under Wiley's Open Access conditions.

The agreement with Wiley covers articles accepted from 1 January 2022 to 31 December, 2025.

What to do

  • Use your DTU e-mail as the corresponding author
  • State DTU as your institutional affiliation (Technical University of Denmark)
  • Select Open Access to publish your article without publication fee
  • Select a Creative Commons license (e.g. CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND)*

Discount on APC
The agreement includes cost-free Open Access publishing with a national cap of 1,110 articles per year during the agreement period (2022-2025). After this, a 15% discount is given on the costs of Open Access publishing (APCs) in journals covered by the agreement if the cap is reached.

Which journals are not included
Wiley's gold Open Access journals are not part of the Wiley Open Access agreement. When publishing in these journals, you will still need to pay a publication fee (APC) to publish your article Open Access as usual.
