DTU Library, Lyngby, is closed due to renovation - July to October

DTU Library in building 101 in Lyngby is due for renovation and is closed from 24 June to 30 October, 2017. Our mini library in the basement is open weekdays 10.00 - 16.00 during the renovation period.

On all three floors, existing ceilings, lighting and ventilation are demolished and replaced by new silencing ceilings, new LED lighting, new ventilation as well as sprinkling and glass walls around the atrium on the 2nd floor. Finally, new escape routes are established including  escape doors and stairs on the outdoor gallery. Work on the outdoors stairs starts in June.

Only construction workers have access to the library during the building period. There will be a construction site just outside the library at Studentertorvet and Knuth-Winterfeldts Allé. The work will cause noise periodically.
