After a year of pilot access to Mendeley Premium, DTU Library has made a new licence agreement giving DTU staff and students access to Mendeley Institutional Edition - with the same privileges.
Mendeley is a reference management tool allowing you to organize and annotate your research and your references, collaborate with other researchers online, and discover the latest research within your field.
Mendeley Institutional Edition
New DTU users can register with their DTU email address and gain access to the extended Mendeley Institutional Edition.
DTU users already using Mendeley can upgrade their Mendeley Basic Account.
DTU users using Mendeley Premium (offer from the pilot project) are encouraged to upgrade to Mendeley Institutional Edition, so that everyone from DTU becomes part of the same overall Mendeley group. This will facilitate our direct communication to the users and gives the library a better opportunity to follow the statistics in the use of Mendeley.
Mendeley Premium users retain the same privileges by going over to Mendeley Institutional Edition.
Mendeley Institutional Edition has the following advantages - compared to Basic:
- More capacity (5 GB compared to 2 GB)
- Larger private groups (up to 25 persons in each group compared to 3 persons in Basic)
- Unlimited number of private groups (compared to only 1 in Basic)
