Get access to DTU Findit
Not all resources in DTU Findit can be accesed by non-DTU users; only DTU staff and students have full access.
Users with DTU affiliation
DTU staff, PhD students, and DTU students are automatically registered as users of the library and have access to all content in DTU Findit via their DTU login - no matter where you are physically. This means that there is DTU access from all DTU campuses as well as all research and teaching facilities, and even outside DTU.
DTU staff and students can download most of the literature found in DTU Findit directly, "free of charge". A small number of references have to be ordered from another supplier still via DTU Findit - you get the message "Request from supplier” in the search result list. For DTU staff, the cost is covered by DTU's budget; DTU students must pay 50 DKK for a copy.
Printed books can be reserved for loan through DTU Findit and picked up at the library at Lyngby or Ballerup Campus. DTU staff can have books sent to their department address by DTU internal mail.
Non-DTU users
If you are not affiliated with DTU, you can register with a valid e-mail address, password, and CPR number (the first time). In order to borrow or request books from our printed collection, you must be registered.
DTU Findit also offers login access with a selection of social media. If you are a member of one of these, you can use your social media credentials to identify yourself and thereby create a login to DTU Findit.
You may also choose to use DTU Findit without logging in.
