DTU Findit

New search tool for public users of DTU Library

On Tuesday, 2 April 2013, DTU Library has launched a new search tool for the literature put at the disposal for all of you who are not an employee or a student at DTU, i.e. you who do not have a DTU login. 

DTU Findit is the name of our new and simple search interface where you can search in a number of databases with literature within all fields of DTU at once. 

The literature in DTU Findit
The content of DTU Findit consists of a large number of scientific journals from the more important publishers, a number of the most used databases, a wide range of e-book collections as well as all printed books of DTU Library. All in all, DTU Findit covers widely within the technical-scientific and appertaining fields. DTU Findit includes more than 170 million items. 

From the computers in the library, you will have direct access to full texts of a large part of the literature of DTU Findit and you can print on site. 

Searching in DTU Findit
Searching in DTU Findit is as simple as searching in Google. The results are sorted according to relevance based on i.a. occurrence. The interface offers the opportunity to further sort the results according to various parameters such as year, author and title. Finally, it is easy to specify your search using various filters. 

Access
This edition of DTU Findit is only accessible on the computers in the library in building 101D at Lyngby Campus. The library is open from 8.00 to 24.00 on weekdays.

DTU employees and students
DTU employees and students should continue to use DTU Digital Library, which has additional content and offers more opportunities. You can access DTU Digital Library on campus and with remote access using your DTU login.
