Citation of post-print articles from DTU
DTU publications in both DTU Orbit and DTU Findit are provided with a "cover sheet" containing bibliographic data.
The bibliographic data - title, author's name, journal, year, volume, page number etc. - are not always included in the post-print edition of a scientific article. However, it is typically the post-print which is published Open Access and made available to everyone, e.g. researchers outside DTU via DTU's research database, DTU Orbit and the online library, DTU Findit. If the bibliographic data are insufficient, it is difficult to cite post-prints correctly.
Our solution is to add a cover sheet to all DTU publications downloaded from DTU Orbit or DTU Findit. This cover sheet contains all the bibliographic data from the final publisher edition of the article and therefore helps to ensure that publications – even post-print versions - can be cited correctly.
