Book a librarian for your teaching

As a lecturer at DTU, you can book a tailored teaching session for your students with DTU Library.

We adapt both content and format to your needs and are happy to combine presentations with workshops, giving students the opportunity to test new methods in practice. Our teaching can be integrated into your existing course or offered as a stand‑alone online webinar.

The content will be designed to support the learning objectives of your course. All sessions are available in both Danish and English.

Literature search

- principles of academic information retrieval and the different search techniques illustrated through DTU Findit.

Specific databases

- explore in depth the relevant databases, both multidisciplinary and subject-specific, that DTU Library provides access to.

Generative AI

- generative AI as a supplement to traditional databases and as a simple visual tools to search results.

Source criticism

- concrete techniques and routines for assessing quality, credibility, and relevance.

Reference management

- keep track of references with Mendeley, build your own library, insert correct citations and generate reference lists; integrated directly with Word and Overleaf.

Laws and regulations

- introduction to the most important rules and practices for using text, images, code, data, and AI, avoid copyright infringement in projects and assignments.
