DTU Library still has open access voucher codes from Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) ready for use. Why not publish your paper as a Gold Open Access (OA) article free of charge?

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has decided to continue their successful OA initiative Gold for Gold. So if you publish in one of the RSC journals, you still have the opportunity to publish your paper as a Gold Open Access article without paying the normal Article Publication Fee (APF).
Gold for Gold was launched as an innovative experiment from the RSC in 2013 in order to acknowledge their commitment to supporting the funder-led evolution to Gold OA. Due to the positive feedback, RSC has decided to continue Gold for Gold.
As a subscriber to RSC Journals, DTU has again been assigned the opportunity to publish articles in journals of the RSC as open access, OA.
By making your article OA, you ensure a further increase of the visibility of your quality research. The article is accessible not only to the subscribers of the journals, but also to the public.

How does it work?
DTU Library has received a number of OA voucher codes to publish Gold OA articles. Each voucher code can be used to publish a communication, full paper, review or technical note without paying the Article Publication Fee.
You submit your article as you normally do. As soon as you receive notification from RSC that your article has been accepted, please send an e-mail to Tanja Maj Jakobsen elibrary@dtu.dk, who will provide you with a voucher code. The voucher code should be entered in the appropriate box when filling in the Gold for Gold online acceptance form.
