How to publish data with your article

Do you need to make data available in connection with your manuscript? DTU Data can support both the peer review process and the final publication.

Many journals and funders now require a data availability statement, which describes how and where research data are available in connection with the publication of a manuscript. The purpose is to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of data.

DTU Data can (free of charge) support the entire process – both during peer review and at final publication – by providing DOIs and the option for private sharing.

Read here how to publish a dataset at the same time as the associated paper in DTU Data.

Here are some standard data availability statements that you can freely use.

  • Replace [DOI] with the DOI assigned by DTU Data.
  • Use the private link from DTU Data when submitting to journals during peer review.
  • The DOI will resolve to the latest version of the dataset; version-specific DOIs can be used if required.
  •
