DTU’s platform for displaying the university’s research output - DTU Orbit - gets a new user interface during November 2019.
The new interface will include visualizations of collaboration networks and will perform better on mobile devices, e.g. smartphones and tablets. It is a standard platform, which looks similar to the research repositories of the other Danish universities.
Current and future changes
Launching a new interface entails various changes. Among other things, the new DTU Orbit platform will only display the profiles of present employees. Publications and projects by former employees will of course still be displayed.
Initially, the new interface will not include profile pictures and CVs.
No changes in the registration of publications, activities and projects
DTU Library still registers all DTU publications on behalf of researchers. In other words, there are no changes in the procedures for uploading or registering publications, activities and projects.
