Workshop
Bring your own DMP
A drop-in session with DTU Library
Is your data management plan (DMP) a blank paper? Do you have doubts on what to write in your DMP? No matter if you are a PhD student or a project coordinator of a large project, then DTU Library’s RDM team can help you get started with your DMP.
The DMP can address potential risks and challenges around your data and facilitate better reuse and accessibility of your data. At DTU, the Policy for Research Data Management states that all projects must have a DMP.
In this workshop, you will get 1:1 assistance to address DMP questions related to your project and data. Therefore, bring any questions about the template or a draft of your own DMP along to the workshop.
We will only give a short introduction to writing a DMP, since this is a hands-on workshop. You are welcome to bring your lunch.
Preparation
Participants should be familiarized with a DMP template before the workshop. Templates from DTU, Horizon Europe or ERC are available in https://dmp.deic.dk/. This short guide to DeiC DMP can help you create the DMP.
We expect participants to familiarize themselves with the DTU Policy for Research Data Management. Note that there might exist additional guidelines at your department that can help you write the DMP.
For a general introduction to research data management, see the research data management pages at DTU Inside (DTU login) or take a deep dive with https://howtofair.dk/
