Here is a tool for you to see the most used journals at DTU, so you can examine yourself the possibilities for open access publishing at your department.

This is a excel-file, that shows the 30 most used journals for each department at DTU. The information in the file is provided by places to where we pay a license. The file is therefore placed a DTU's internal portal and only accessible to researchers and students at DTU.

The file contains:

  • A total "Top 30" list of journals from all departments and research units.
  • A "Top 30" list of journals from all departments and research units.

The information provied is:

  • ISSN
  • Title of journal
  • Preprint: Yes or No - are you allowed to deposit a preprint version of your article in Orbit - read a definition of preprint.
  • Postprint: Yes or No - are you allowed to deposit a postprint version of your article in Orbit - read a definition of postprint.
  • Publisher version: Yes or No - are you allowed to deposit a publisher version of your article in Orbit - read a definition of publisher version.
  • Impact factor: the journal's ISI/JCR impact factor from http://isiknowledge.com/jcr.
  • Link: To SHERPA/RoMEO where you can read the complete copyright notice of the journal in focus.
  • Journal Type: Traditional, hybrid or Open Access - read about journal types in the glossary.
  • Article Processing Charges: Price on Open Access publishing per article in USD.
  • Count: Number of articles published in the journal (only per deparment).
  • Notes: Additional comments.
  • Department: Which department is the journal affiliated to e.g. affiliation of author(s).
